History of Miron

Miron Construction Co., Inc., based in Neenah, Wis., was founded in 1918 by Patrick G. Miron. In 1949, Miron partnered with five stockholders; the descendants of two of those stockholders run the company today – David G. Voss, Jr. (grandson of Patrick G. Miron) and Tim Kippenhan.

Miron Today

Miron operates a corporate office in Neenah, Wis., six regional offices throughout Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan and Minnesota, has completed numerous projects throughout the Midwest and continues to expand into the national marketplace with projects in Oklahoma, Georgia, Nebraska, Kansas and Colorado.

Recognitions

Miron, recently named Builder of the Year by The Daily Reporter, as part of the publication’s 2011 Newsmakers of the Year awards program, is currently listed 94^th among all general contractors in the United States and among the top 10 (the largest Wisconsin-based) construction companies serving the Midwest by Engineering News Record. (based on revenue figures for 2010). In addition, Miron was honored as Wisconsin’s 2010 Family Business of the Year and named “Most Admired Company in WI” and “Best General Contractor in WI” by Corporate Report Magazine.
